Calm down and pass the carrots

[lilith]

I finish chopping up the celery for supper tonight when I look over and see Hayden opening another beer. He's nearly paced a circle in the kitchen of the new house.

"Calm down and pass me the carrots. They're on the table Love."

[hayden]

I walk over towards the bench and grab ahold of the bag and carry them over towards her.

"Calm down did you seriously jsut tell me to calm down. This is like a HUGE deal babe it's not like I have been a model brother to her now is it."

I begin to take a skull of the beer as she turns to face me grabbing ahold of the bottle

[lilith]

"I know Love." I pushed the bottle away and gave him a quick kiss on the lips.

"She agreed to dinner. That's a good sign, normally she ignores you're texts and calls."

[hayden]

I take a deep breath and shake my head, "That is a true point."

I just look into her eyes for a moment and get a smile on my face, "So do you think she will actually show up though?"

[lilith]

"I think she'll be late. But yes, I do believe she'll be here." I smile at him and walk back to the cutting board as I pull the carrots out of the bag.

"You owe Blair, just so you know."

[hayden]

I get a very puzzled look on my face as I begin to scratch my freshly shaved head.

"How exactly do I owe Blair?", I start to laugh to myself as I try to sneakingly grab my beer

[lilith]

"Think about it Love.." I grabbed his beer so he'd listen to me. "If her and Cross were still together, do you think she'd be coming over for supper?" He scratches his head again so I at least knew he was listening, I handed him his beer and shook my head.

"She's gotten better since she's been with him."

[hayden]

"You make a very valid point love. She has changed alot its almost like shes happy for once in her life and that just makes me feel awesome", I then walk into the kitchen and wrap my arms around her waist and give her a light kiss on the neck.

"I am glad that she has found the one person who makes her happy much like me"

[lilith]

I smile and giggle a little. "Smooth Love. Nice little add in there." I joke as I turn around and kiss him.

"She does seem happier. But like you told her... she's a Raine, which means she can hide it."

[hayden]

"Bahahaha that is very true my love us Raine's aren't very good at hiding our true feelings. Thank you for setting all this up babe after everything that has happened in the past few months I must say I am actually looking forward to sitting down and relaxing for once."

[lilith]

"I must say I agree. Just don't freak out when she's late. I have never seen her on time for anything but a match."

[hayden]

"Don't forget when he coffee runs out she is usually early or bang on time for that. It's her one addiction that she craves", I start to laugh to myself as I begin to wander around the other side of the bench top and take a seat on the bar stool.

[lilith]

"Yeah I've noticed, that why I have coffee ready to go." I pointed with the knife over to a new coffee maker. "I even bought creamer and shit for it.
Tonight will go off without a hitch."

[hayden]

"I just had a thought hun why don't I try and see if Devlin will show up also? Could be a chance for the family to completely get together for once"

[lilith]

"Devlin?" I stop what I'm doing and I look at him. "I think that's a good idea. It would make her more comfortable too, since her and Devlin are closer."

I put all of he vegetable in a strainer and started to rinse them as Hayden pulled out his phone.
