Calm down and pass the carrots

[hayden]

I look through my phone for his number and begin to dial and put the receiver up to my ear as I hear a faint Hello.

"Well if it isn't my little brother who is too cool to ring or talk to me anymore. How are you Dev?'

[steelmorrigan]

Indeed Devlin had answered and the voice on the other end had gotten araise of his brow as he spoke up.

"I'm ood bro, though a little suroised to hear your voice, Guess i just lost track fo time, you know how shit goes, wassup?"

[lilith]

I smile as I finish up the prep work for supper.

"Tell him he to bring Kate." I tell Hayden as I walk out of the kitchen.

[hayden]

"Very true point. Myself I am doing quite well thanks just brought a new place with Lilith and putting on a little family dinner to try and make peace with Bathory after everything that has gone on. Just thought I would extend the offer your direction also"

[steelmorrigan]

A long pause, a very long pause.

"Wait, -you- are asking -me- and -Bath- to get into a room together with -you- ....Are you feeling alright? You're not Sick are you? You're not some crazy doppelganger Brother who replaced the other douche?

Devlin's tone was teasing.

[hayden]

I let out a little chuckle and shake my head, "Still the same smartass you have always been. No it is the same old me guess I have just found the someone in my life to make me happy for a change. So what do you say bro would you and Kate like to join us?"

[steelmorrigan]

There's a chuckle and a smile as Devlin seems to ponder this.

"Done."

[hayden]

"Ok dude I will text you through the address I should head off and tidy up abit", I hang up my phone and slide it back into my pocket as I turn around I see Lilith standing there in a rather tight and short black cocktail dress.

"Damn woman u trying to just skip dinner and go onto dessert?"

[lilith]

"This is plan B, incase things don't go well." I smile at him as I wrap my arms around the back of his neck. "Is he coming?"

[hayden]

"He said he would be here with bells on and if I know Devlin like I should then he will be here with bells", I look into her eyes for moment before smiling and giving her a kiss.

"Guess I should go and at least put some respectable looking on, don't think they want ot look at my manly chest all night", I say to myself as I begin to head up towards the bedroom

[lilith]

I laugh at him as I go into the kitchen and get a few last minute things together. I hear him walking down the stairs as the doorbell rings.

"She's early!"

[hayden]

I finish pulling down my t-shirt over my head a I hear the doorbell ring, "Well shit there is a first fro everything. Don't worry babe I will answer it".

I make my way downstairs towards the front door, opening it slowly to reveal Bathory and Blair stands there looking rather sharp. "Well shit guys it's not like your going to a wedding or something its just dinner but come in", I motion them inside a point towards the kitchen as I stop Bath for a moment giving her a hug and whisper in her ear Thank you for coming.

I just nod my head.

"The new house looks nice." I give him a weak smile as I look around for Blair. I was already on edge and we haven't even sat down to eat.

"I wanted to come naked..." Suddenly an elbow jabs me and i look at Bathory who is smiling at me giggling. "Sorry if we are late my dad and I were talking sports and my daughter was entertaining Bathory."

[hayden]

I walk in front of them both and lead them towards the kitchen where Lilith is finishing off the last bits and pieces, "Hey you guys aren't late your actually early for once and thank good my sister has some scene then showing up naked would have been a tad awkward". I just laugh at him as I head towards the fridge

"You guys want anything to drink?'
