Cross got to the hotel before her and went into the bar where they first began to talk, He ordered a drink and went to a table in the back where no one would really see or pay attention to them. It was three days after Vince left AW for good when he sat at this very bar. After Bathory went into the arms of Spaz he always found himself sitting at hotel bars just wondering when or if he would see her agian. He was drinking a jake and coke when he heard a voice from behinde him.
"Of all the bars for you to come to, you have to come here?" She was already pretty happy, about 7 drinks ago.
Cross turned around and his eyes about jumped out of his head.
"Holy shit, what are you doing here?" He couldn't believe who was standing infront of him
"Drinking." She held up her glass and took a seat next to me. I wasn't quite sure what to do.
"To be honest I've never seen you like this, your always uptight and crazy." He took a sip of his jack and coke.
"Well you'd be crazy to if you had to put up with the shit I do."
"Good point good point, so what you drinking I'll buy you another"
She looked surprised as she answered. "The bartender said it was a Sex in the Parking lot... or he wanted to have sex in the parking lot... I wasn't really paying attention to him."
Cross started to laugh has the bartender walked up."She'll have another of what ever that is and put it on my tab."
"Are you going to posion my drink Vince?"
"No I'm playing nice tonight could probably take advantage of me" He laughed not really sure why he said that.
All she did was laugh as she finished her current drink, in time for the next one to show up. "Why drinking so much tonight?"
"It clears the mind, why are you drinking?"
"I guess you could a celebration of some sort, I just left AW for good." He finished what was in his glass and got a second one.
[green]"I hear a lot of people are doing that. Why are you?"[/color] She started on her next glass, which would be her turning point.
"I got tired of getting fucked over by the so called boss we had, he is a little bitch in my eyes."
She started to laugh and just nodded her head, agreeing with him. "To whatever lies after AW" She held her drink towards me.
Cross nodded his head and held up his glass and downed the whole glass.She copied his motion, slamming in on the table she let out a loud "WHOO!" before flashing him a smile.
He smiled back and looked at the elevator then back to her.
" I think I'm going to go get a room." He winked at her has he stood up.
She didn't hesitate to follow him as he left the bar. "I should probably get one too. Drinking and driving is supposedly bad."
"Thats why I get a room, If you want we can share I'll sleep on the couch they have in the room you can have the bed."
"Why are you being so nice to me?"
[color=red"let's just say I'm not who I used to be and I finally going to be me no matter if anyone likes it or not...Or you can blame it on I was drunk in the morning."[/color] He laughed has he walked up to the front counter.
"Sounds like the 2nd one holds more promise." She commented as he got a room. He turned around and jingled the key at her as they made their way to the elevator.
Has the entered the elevator his arm brushed agianst her has he hit the button for the pent house. He looked her dead in the eyes."Anyone ever tell you that you have pretty eyes?"
She blushed a moment as she looked back at me,"Not for awhile."
"Well you do, I have never really noticed that before." Cross then kissed her.
She didn't stop him, instead she pulled him in closer as the elevator dinged and opened. She finally pulled away and just looked at him as she took a few deep breaths. He looked at her and began to leave the elevator grabbing her hand.
She pulled her hand away but keep up with him.
"You hold hands of the people you care about."
"Just making sure I didn't scare you off back there." They reached the room and he unlocked the door and pushed open the door.
As he turned back to look at her she pushed him into the hotel room and shut the door behind them. "You look deep in thought." He snapped out of the memory to see her standing there, holding a hotel key.
He smiled "Just thinking" He got up and followed her to the elevator. For the first time in a long time he didn't think about Bathory, or anything else in the world but that moment. He then began to picture Spaz. "So I must say I can't wait till my match. I mean I get to face spaz face to face. Hayden and Casper really don't matter to me. OW is my new play ground and I am going to take it by storm. I will do that no matter if everyone gets into my way including Bathory. It's time for everyone to see the new Vincent Cross. Spaz is like I said a has been and always will be. Yes I mean he has done alot in his carree but so has everyone else and no one else proclaims to be an Icon. Buddy time to face the truth your not shit. Now Hayden Raine he has alot of balls. I mean I about killed him in AW and he has the guts to say that I have a yellow line running down my back. I mean after out match, he had to be carried out on streacher. Hayden has nothing on me anymore I am finaly who I am and what I want to be in life and agian no one wil stop me.
Before Vince could say another word she came out of the bathroom wearing just her bra and panties, Cross smiled has she walked to him slowly..
