OOC: Not my best work, but it's an introduction which I suck at writing lol
As I walked into the compound of The Beast, various training equipment could be seen being present, some of the equipment could be seen being used by other students. My trainer former Universal Wrestling Federation champion Bobby Bishop who otherwise became notoriously known by the fans of the sport of professional wrestling as “The Beast” I had grown up around him, his compound, and the sport of professional wrestling.
Having never knew my father my uncle basically was my father, teaching me the wonderful aspects of being the center of attention, the center of the universe that is exactly what he was when he was the Universal Heavyweight champion, though one thing my uncle Bobby didn’t show me was the dreadful, hateful aspect, that being on top one minute and then having your whole world crumble from underneath your feet, that is the very thing I come to learn by not being taught, but being shown it…
Yes others have fallen…
And fallen hard they have from being on top, to having endorsements, and sponsors, to loosing it all with in a flick of a finger, going from the wonderful life they lived, to showing up late strung out on drugs, or alcohol, to not showing up at all, that is the very life I have come to be shown, the very life I’ve lived since I was 17 years old, for you see I hadn’t lived a normal life like most 17 year olds, I instead lived a life amongst icons, and legends, one of those icons being my uncle Bobby “The Beast” Bishop who’s real name happens to be Richard Jay Stone, though to his fans he’s the BEAST… I begin looking around, having not seen my uncle insight, I begin to wonder where he was.
“Phinnaeus”
Spoke a familiar voice, as I turned around it could be seen none other then my childhood rival, the very man who I come to hate dearly, though he equally hated me, but he hated me because I truly was better then him, and he knew it, though he also hated me because of who I tied into, and that was the very man who trained him as well my uncle.
“How’s it been Phinnaeus, haven’t seen you in almost four years, hove you been?”
Having known Chris, I knew what he was up to, though to please him I responded with a slight smile forming in the corner of my mouth, as I stood looking at him in my track suit.
“Life hasn’t been good to be honest, life has been amazing to better answer your question, and you Chris?”
I question Chris as the slight smile slowly begin to form into a full smile across my face as I continued to look at Chris, who could be seen looking annoyed due to the answer I had given him, knowing Chris I knew he was wanting to hear something totally different, but it wasn’t going to happen, not now not ever…
“It’s been alright man, hell even today could have been better!”
Chris said as I sat and listened, though not paying as close attention to him as I should have been, as I pulled the zipper down on my track suit jacket.
“What you saying Chris?”
I questioned as I slowly begin to remove my track suit jacket, as I removed it, I placed it over the top of a nearby chair, as I did the words “Mr. 24 Karats” could be seen across the back of it in gold old English Roman lettering.
“I’m saying Phinnaeus it would have been much better if your ass hadn’t showed up today, I mean everything was going so well, and then you the nephew of one of the greatest men in professional wrestling, Bobby “The Beast” Bishop come walking on through the doors of the compound just as I thought I had ridden you of the sport after that beating you received from me…”
As he said that I could only imagine what he was going to say next about me. Just before I was going to respond the mark, I could hear the voice of my uncle calling my name. As turned my attention away from Chris, and put my attention on my uncle, he could be seen just entering into the compound of named after.
“Uncle…”
I said as he approached Chris and I. My uncle dressed in a business suit as if he had just came from a meeting, or something. His hair combed neatly, he could be seen looking good for once in his life, having not been inside the ring quit for sometime, I could only imagine how rusty he was, though then again he may not be seeing how this was his training facility, the very facility I learned the very sport years ago.
“Phinnaeus I just spoke with a promoter for yeah, know you haven’t found a promotion yet.”
As he said that my facial expression went from being annoyed to being once again in a happy mood, though I could only imagine what kind of promotion he got me a deal with. I wasted no time in grabbing my track suit jacket, and walking with him into to his office.
“So what’s the promotion uncle Bobby?”
I questioned as I took a seat in front of his office, as he sat in front of his desk, he lounged back in his leather chair, various papers could be seen laying atop of his desk, I could only imagine if those were the papers to my contract.
“The promotion is Odyssey Wrestling, it’s a new promotion that has been around for a few months, it’s a promotion I think you’d do very well in making your mark on the industry I once was a well known figure and icon and now legend in…”
He said with a smile as he reached into his business suits front pocket and pulled out a pin.
“Odyssey Wrestling eh?”
I said as I clocked the pens top, and begin to sign the contract.
“Your scheduled for the upcoming Oracle VII against a guy by the name of Jeff Jackson, get this Finn he’s one of those extreme wrestling nuts, you know the ones that put their bodies on the line doing extremely stupid things, like taking tacks and staplers to their bodies just to get a huge pop from the crowd”
He said as I signed the last page of the Odyssey Wrestling contract.
“You mean to tell me I’m facing a fool?”
I said with disappointment as I looked up from signing the contract, my eyes full of disappointment, it was as if it was just a big let down, which indeed it truly was knowing my first opponent would be some extreme nut named Jeff Jackson.
“Fin he’s no fool, but yes he and the rest of the style he brings to the ring are a overnight sensation, you know the kind that are at one minute on top, and then the next minute sidelining due to an injury and are out for months”
As he said that a smile formed across my face, but still a let down knowing I wouldn’t be headlining like I should be doing.
“So you signed me to a promotion where I’m given a joke for my first match!”
As he heard the disappointment in my voice I got up from where I was sitting and begin walking towards the door.
“Finn, come on my little nephew…”
He said as he called out to me, but I had already turned to leave he and his pathetic office.
“Come on Finn…”
He continued to say as I reached out for the door handle, as he stood up from his leather chair, I could see his reaction through the glare of the window. As the door handle turned, I looked back at my uncle for a moment, before pulling the door open and walking out.
“Phinnaeus Gabriel Stone…”
He shouted out at me as the door closed behind me, leaving him standing alone in shock as if what I had done had hurt him, though I couldn’t have cared how hurt he felt, imagine how hurt I was to hear I my first match would be against a joke, a guy claiming to be an “The Extreme Legend” when in doubt he truly wasn’t for “The Extreme Legend” I had known and come to grow up watching as a child was retired, and this Jeff Jackson wasn’t him…
Sunday, September, 30th, Oracle VII will be the day the wrestling landscape will change, for I Phinnaeus Stone, “Mr. 24 Karat” will make his mark on the wrestling industry though not in the independent scene, but in the very promotion I signed with, that promotion being Odyssey Wrestling against the one who’s name is Jeff Jackson a false prophet, and I use false prophet for he is just that, he’s no Extreme legend and come Sunday the world shall see just that…
You see Jackson want’s to be just that a Legend but he isn’t he’s no legend not in OW nor in any other promotion, hell for god sakes I’ve never even heard of him until I signed with Odyssey am I’m going to prove just that…
For September 30th, when he and face off against one another the world will come to see just that when I destroy him and his name…
Just like my uncle had done when he claimed to be Extreme his name went from household, to nothing, to eventually him drinking his sorrows and regrets away each and every night inside the local bars he found himself only minutes away from.
And just like my uncle when I come walking out from behind those black curtains, and I step out into the light basking in all the mixed reactions from the crowd as they chant my very **cking name, it’ll be at that very moment that they continue to chant my name when I show them just exactly what a false prophet he truly is when I show them he’s nothing but far from being EXTREME…
Jackson you want to claim to be The Extreme Legend, well guess what your going to get, your chance and it’ll be a once in a life time chance, though you wont succeed for I plan on destroying you, your dumbfound name, and your less then succeeding, if anything failing career.
I suggest Jeffery my friend if you don’t want to be left alone in the end working for small promotions just trying to get by, then you listen to exactly what I’m saying Sunday night, September 30th when Oracle VII goes live when you and I face off against one another, you better bet your sorry ass that I wont hesitate for a split second about breaking you into two, and showing you exactly what the word EXTREME really means, and what it truly is about. You see Jackson I don’t want my legacy to be that of the guy who killed Jeff Jackson’s career, though if you were a real legend then it wouldn’t bother me as much as being the guy who destroyed a legend, but lets face it…
As Phinnaeus pauses for a second he can be seen reaching off camera grabbing something. The camera zooms out capturing the entire area, he can be seen grabbing what looks to be a water bottle. He twists the top of it off, and takes a few sips on out of it before speaking once again.
You see Jeff there is but one choice and that is this, it’s very simple tell the world your no legend, nor an Extreme legend, your prepare for an embarrassment when I come to defeat you in my debut match in my newly acquired home, that home being the Odyssey Wrestling promotion the very promotion I look forth in becoming the top competitor in!!!
So Jeff do the right thing, you’ve already been told what that very thing is…
For come Sunday night at Oracle VII you'll come to meet "Mr. 24 Karats" yours truly PHINNAEUS F'N STONE...
As Phinnaeus says that he gives the signal to kill the video feed. As the feed ends Phinnaeus stone, “Mr. 24 Karat” begins to fade away.
