She pulled her hair back and shoved the knife to her throat. Bathory's eyes just glistened as she look up at Brooklyn... begging. She snapped back into reality and lowered her blade. A sigh of relief swept over Bathory as Brooklyn slammed the knife down, cutting down her arm.
Bathory screamed in pain and Brooklyn just smiled as she left the cell. "Jester, get me a car. I have a trip to take." Jester was standing outside the door and just shook her head. Jack better know what he is doing. She thought as she looked back in at Bathory. Blood running down her arm.
"It would be wise not to test her child, she's about at her end and you life will hold no value."
Jester walked from the cell and followed Brooklyn as she walked outside. "I'll drive you Brooklyn." Brooklyn turned around and looked at Jester, an angry look as she climbed into the first car she found. Jester walked around and got into the drivers seat. "Do you want to talk about it?"
"Shut up and fucking drive, the address is saved into the GPS." Brooklyn wasn't in the mood and her mind was bouncing around on her. She pulled the same small camcorder out that she had used at her home.
"Spaz... we are both beyond the point of no return, beyond the words of reasons. Let your brother there whisper in your ear, it just shows how desperate you have become. You are putting your trust in someone who was ready to kidnap your daughter and destroy your life.
So he gave you a useful bit of information but what you fail to realize is that was before Jester here showed up. So go ahead torture him Blair, he isn't going to tell you anything and if you kill him, you will not like the outcome.
And you know that isn't a threat, we have come too far to be threatening each other. We are beyond words, you can say you're not afraid of me, I can say I don't fear you. We can say it till we're blue in the face and until everyone who watches us is sick of hearing it.
So I'm going to save them the time and the trouble. I'm going to let well calculated actions speak for awhile. And Chaos... I did warn you that loyalty was very important to me... so this next action is for you as well.
Blair is really going to need your help when I get done with him and all of his loved ones."
Brooklyn turned the camera as they started to get into some sort of town. A few buildings were hard to miss and the scenery was easy to recognize if it was a trip you had taken before. Her voice was calm as the camera kept focused outside.
"My guess is by now you know where I'm going Spaz... hell we're this personal I might as well call you Blair, after all I'm about to go have dinner with your family. How much more personal can you get than that?"
The camera shifted as Jester pulled into a drive way. The drive way to Blair's father's home. His father who was also the babysitter of his daughter Lydia.
"Take the camera and keep your mouth shut." The camera shifted again as a car door was heard being shut. The camera got out of the car and Brooklyn is seen on her cell phone, sending a text message. She shut her phone and slipped it back into her pocket as they reached the door.
She knocked and stepped to the side as nothing happened. She looked at the camera, or Jester, which ever one works. She shook her head and knocked again. An older gentleman answered the door, his look turned to a version on 'oh shit' once he noticed who was at the door.
He went to go slam the door shut but Brooklyn grabbed the edge of the door and pushed it open, nearly knocking him in the face.
"Mr. Blud, it's an honor to meet you." She looked down at the small child who was hiding behind his legs. "And you must be Lydia." The little girl shook her head yes as she hid a little bit more. "I'm Brooklyn, I'm a friend of your dads... and Bathory's." Lydia's eyes lit up a little at the mention of her dad and Bathory.
"We don't want any trouble Brooklyn."
"Neither do I Mr. Blud, I just thought I'd join you guys for supper. Am I too late for supper?" Her voice still had that calm to it but her eyes said just how dangerous she could be.
He looked at Brooklyn, to the camera, and than down to Lydia. "You're just in time."
"Smart answer, please lead the way." Brooklyn motioned as she shut the door behind her. She had a good hour before Spaz could get here. She planned to enjoy it. "How are you Lydia?"
"I miss my daddy and Bathory. She got me this." She pushed her doll out to show Brooklyn. The doll had a bunch of doodles on it along with red hair like Bathory.
"Cute, when was the last time you saw them."
"It's been a really really long time they're busy."
"Too busy to stop by and see you?"
"Brooklyn, she knows they're busy."
Brooklyn looked up at Blair's dad as they walked into the dining room. She took a seat across from where Lydia's booster seat was set up. Blair's father took the stop at the head of the table and Jester just kept standing, holding the camera.
"Why does she have a camera?" Lydia asked as she watched Jester.
"We're going to show our visit to your daddy later, do you want to say hi?"
Lydia started to wave, "Hi daddy!"
"Lydia eat your supper." He looked over at Brooklyn and moved his plate in front of Brooklyn as Lydia frowned and started to eat her food. He leaned in and whispered to her, "we don't want any trouble. This is between you and Blair, she's just a little girl."
"This wasn't my idea, I actually got it from your son, Bryan." His eyes changed when I mentioned Blair's brother. "Hell Kyle gave me the address."
"You know uncle Kyle?!" She was excited, it was cute. The age of innocence, a few names they are familiar with and they love you.
"He's staying with me right now, he got hurt and I'm helping him heal."
"Oh." Brooklyn wasn't really sure if she understood. She was obviously kept away from the world of all of this. Blair was not going to be happy when he got here.
"Brooklyn."
"Does she also know Bathory is dead?" Brooklyn looked down to see the smile disappear from Lydia's face.
"No she's not!" Lydia yelled with all the anger a 3 year old could have.
"Yes she is, I killed her, because you're daddy didn't listen."
"That is enough!" Blair's father stood up. "Lydia, go to your room. I have to talk to Brooklyn about lying to little kids." Lydia, who was near tears didn't waste anytime in running off.
"You shouldn't lie to the child."
"I don't know what you're doing here but I'm not going to let you upset my granddaughter."
"Won't she ask one day where Bathory is? Why her daddy's upset all the time? Hell will he even come see her once he's thrown away his humanity?"
"That is his daughter, flesh and blood, he will always find humanity with her. He loves her."
"He loved Bathory too, look where that got him."
"You actually killed her... didn't you?" Brooklyn just smiled as she stood up from the table. She started to walk away as he got angry. "How can a person be so dead inside?"
"Me? I'm not dead inside... but when I'm done, your son will be." She turned around, swinging a punch she hit his father in the face. His nose starts to bleed instantly as Brooklyn swings again. She doesn't let up, even when he hits the wall.
She just snapped into her world and kept hitting him. When he slid to the ground she decided kicking him was the next best option. She didn't stop or snap out of it till Jester called her name.
She looked over at Jester and Jester pointed to her watch, knowing they were on borrowed time. Brooklyn gave him one last kick, to his face, before pulling a picture from her pocket. "Give this to Blair." She dropped it on his bloody body and started to walk out. She passed the camera and looked at it.
"I could have killed your family Blair, if you kill Jack, I will come back and I WILL finish the job.
Oh yeah, by the way, Hi Bryan."
Bathory screamed in pain and Brooklyn just smiled as she left the cell. "Jester, get me a car. I have a trip to take." Jester was standing outside the door and just shook her head. Jack better know what he is doing. She thought as she looked back in at Bathory. Blood running down her arm.
