I sit their listening and devouring my food, I take a sip of my beer and look at the people sitting around the table. Instead of.speaking my mind I just sit their and listen to what the Raine family has to say.

I looked over than Devlin for a moment before looking back to Hayden. "I know it's not my call, but.." I stop because I can't find the right word and I don't want to stick my foot in my mouth.

I could see the look on Lilith's face when I mentioned Damien.

I moved my half eaten plate over in front of him and took his empty plate. I never ate all of my food, maybe I was drinking to much coffee?

I have to laugh a little, "at least he likes your cooking Lilith." Which was more than I could say, but I was a picky eater.

"Well, I have eaten my dads cooking for years, so this food is nothing compared to that. When we get home I will make an attempt at home cooking." I chuckle after speaking and push my plate away.
